We only ended up having 5 does breed and kid for our summer breeding. We have 4 buck kids that would make nice bucks for a commercial herd. They are out of our herd sire Heavy Hitter, and will be weaned late summer/early fall. They can all be registered as 100% fullblood and will have had their CD&T vaccinations and been dewormed. We will try to get pictures up shortly of them.

We just finished our fall AI breeding program, synchronizing, and artificially inseminating 21 does, with another 6 that went right in the buck pen with our herd sire. We will Bio-Pryn pregnancy check them at 30 days and those that aren't bred will be bred to our herd sire. Later in the fall we will post what we have bred and to whom, but check out our buck page to see which sires we have used in our AI program.

T3L Fully Loaded recently took 6th place (day 1) and 4th place (day 2) under judges Anton Ward and Chip Kemp in the 6-9 month class at the October ABGA show in Albion, Ny.

He took 3rd place (out of 9) in the 6-9 month class at the September ABGA show (Syracuse, NY) under Texas judge Ty Fowler.

He took 2nd Place (out of 18) in the 3-6 Month Buck Class at the July, 2010 ABGA Show (Syracuse, NY) under Alabama judge, Wes Hallman.

He has 5 ABGA points and he will be inspected at the appropriate age.

It's kidding and lambing time!

Kidding and lambing time has arrived at T3L! We are getting some really nice lambs from our new ram that we purchased last fall from A & B Dorsets in Newark, Ohio. He was not quite six months old when we put him in with our mature ewes in September but to our amazement, he got the job done! We are up to 35 lambs and still have 6 more to lamb out. We have gotten mostly ewe lambs, so we will be in short supply of meat this fall, but we should have some nice ewes to sell for breeding stock and 4H projects. Please contact us early if you are interested in either breeding stock or would like to be on our waiting list for fall meat.

Happy holidays to everyone! May you all be able to spend time with family and friends this holiday season. Just a quick thank you to everyone who has purchased animals and meat from us over the year.

Our kidding starts in a very short time, as in right after Christmas, and continues through January. The goat kids should just about all be born in time for our sheep to start lambing! Once we get through February and lambing and kidding, guess what? It's time for calving to start! Oh, but we're getting a little bit ahead of ourselves like we tend to do. For now we'll try to enjoy the family get togethers between now and New Years and worry about losing all the cookie pounds later!

Just a reminder- we are all out of pork, goat and lamb meat until late spring. We still have a good supply of ground beef and different cuts of steak. Let us know what you're interested in!

Although we enjoy showing and winning with our goats, we feel that it is essential that our animals remain productive as well. We will not keep, nor sell to others, any animal that cannot reproduce and raise (her) offspring, no matter how good she (or he) does in the show ring.

Bucks

Triple 3 Livestock uses only the finest registered fullblood bucks in our breeding program. We are commited to producing quality fullblood and percentage boer goats for show, breeding stock, and meat production. We strive to follow the ABGA breed standards, regardless of whether our animals are for show or commercial purposes.

We always have at least one herd sire on the farm for natural service, but we also utilize artificial insemination to diversify our genetics. For the current (fall) breeding season, six of our does were bred to our herd sire-AABG SRR Heavy Hitter, while the rest were bred artificially to Ward's Cat In The Hat (ennobled), Capriole's Montego (scroll down their page-he is in the middle), RRD Right on Target (ennobled), and Walkin' K LFC Sporter.

While we are still "perfecting" our AI program at T3L and are not achieving the results we have hoped for, we did still get some percentage and fullblood does bred by AI for January kidding. We have confirmed pregnancies for all of the sires we used and once kidding gets under way we will have a better idea of what we will have available for sale.

Grass-Fed Lamb

Triple 3 Livestock is pleased to offer our lamb to you for your consumption. We sell only our own lambs so we can guarantee the care, diet and conditions under which they were raised.

Our lambs are raised on our organic pastures and hay, and are minimally supplemented with grain when weather and growing conditions do not allow for access to fresh pasture. The lambs do receive lambhood vaccinations and deworming agents when necessary to protect the health of the flock, but they are not given any growth hormones, or fed antibiotics or unnatural feed additives.

We trailer our lambs to the processing facility ourselves to ensure the safety and comfort of the animals. We will work with our customers to have our lambs slaughtered at their chosen facility or use one of our choosing. Hides from those lambs are retrieved by us and prepared for the tanner who turns them into the lovely sheepskins we sell.

Ordering

We currently offer lamb by the whole or half carcass.

Orders must be paid for in full at the time of pick up. Orders will be filled in the order they are received for as long as supplies last.

*NOTE - Sorry, but we do not ship. Orders must be picked up at the farm or slaughter facility. A rendezvous can sometimes be arranged under some circumstances. Please ask.

Please call to arrange a time for pick up. We are a working farm and unscheduled arrivals will meet with disappointment if we are away from home or unable to pause in a task we're doing to serve you!
