We started showing 2007 when our children were 11, 9, and 6. In the beginning, we stayed in New York-going to the ABGA shows in Syracuse, a few open shows here and there, and the local 4H junior fair. In the short years since then, we have traveled to ABGA shows in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, as well as the three sanctioned shows in Syracuse. We generally go to at least 6-8 shows during the show season, and enjoy meeting fellow goat breeders and enthusiasts!
The 2012 show season is almost over for us. We've been to ABGA sanctioned shows in Syracuse, NY, Hamburg, NY, and one in Centre Hall, PA. T3L did well at all the shows, with most all of our does placing in the top five of some very competitive classes. This is the first year we are showing 100% all of our own herd prefix-breeding and raising all of the animals in our show string. Most of our show does this year are from our herd sire Heavy Hitter, with a few being from our AI breeding that we did last fall. We are excited to see how these does continue to grow and do well in the show ring.
We have one more show for this year in Syracuse in late September and then it's time for our fall breeding and much needed rest until next year!
T3L Hubba Bubba has 11 points so far from this year's show season. She is an AI daughter out of Walkin' K Sporter. Shown here under judge Anton Ward.

Poplar Hill W57 (Zulu, as we call her), who we bought as a young doeling in 2007, now has 17 points towards her ennoblement.
